Building on the success of its home chargers, the commercial-grade Business Series is designed for a wide range of applications, from multi-dwelling residences such as apartment blocks, to private parking, public or leisure facilities, and business premises.

The Simpson & Partners Business Series is available in 24 colour combinations, with 7kW single-phase or 22kW three-phase outputs, wall-mounted or free-standing, plus Type 2 Mode 3 compatibility and OZEV approval.

The range also includes a plinth-only option, allowing businesses to install all the underground infrastructure now, but without chargers attached to the free-standing post. This solution enables businesses to claim the OZEV government grant to help with installation costs, while enabling the addition of chargers as demand increases or as budgets permit, providing a future-proofed solution.

Prices start from £877.79 for the single wall mount charger, while the single freestanding charger comes in from £1,864.15. The dual free-standing charger starts from £2,280.45 while the plinth-only dual-socket solution is priced from £412.85. All prices are excluding VAT.

All Business Series chargers are OCPP compliant, offering total freedom to business owners, with optional MID (Measuring Instruments Directive) certified advanced features. MID electricity meters are essential for businesses needing precise and OFGEM-compliant kWh billing.

Dedicated desktop software simplifies charger management, allowing users to control charger access, set charging rates and generate comprehensive reports across multiple sites.

An ‘Onboard Doctor’ feature diagnoses and addresses potential issues and alerts owners if further maintenance is required, minimising downtime and enhancing charge point reliability.

All products are engineered in Britain at Simpson & Partners’ manufacturing facility in the Cotswolds, using local suppliers and materials. Materials include high-quality woods, solid aluminium and hand-painted finishing.

The Business Series chargers are available in a range of six colours – Goodwood Green and Midnight Blue (both new 2024 colours) as well as Cotswold Green, Corten Earth, Anthracite Grey and Black. Bespoke colours are available on request for specific projects, allowing the chargers to stand out or blend in, as per the customer’s requirements.

Mandy Simpson, director at Simpson & Partners, said: “We’re proud to bring our Business Series to market. The Business Series has been designed to make lasting impressions and add elegance to what is essentially car park furniture. We look forward to helping businesses achieve their e-mobility sustainability goals and exceed the expectations of their employees, guests, clients and patrons, whether that’s small businesses in need of one standard charger, or large international companies with a requirement for hundreds of colour-matched units.”
