Paua EV charge card users get access to Roam network
Fleets using Paua’s EV charge card can now access Roam Charging’s UK-wide network.
The collaboration gives access to over 800 EV connectors across more than 200 sites, combining a mix of AC charging and DC rapid charging options.
Formerly known as EVC, Roam Charging delivers a network designed to meet the varied requirements of today’s EV drivers, with charging hubs installed at convenient places such as workplaces hotels, retail outlets and other key destinations.
The integration of Roam Charging enhances Paua’s roaming network, ensuring business fleets have access to convenient and reliable charging points across the UK.
Roam’s CTO Manjit Notay said: “Integrating with market leaders such as Paua enables us to ensure our chargers remain visible for the coming generations of EV drivers. Roam wasn’t built in a day after all, but it’s strides like this which will support the EV adoption commercially as well as for consumers.”
Roam’s network is now fully integrated into the Paua app, giving users the ability to locate, access and pay for charging seamlessly. As always, Paua consolidates all charging sessions into a single, easy-to-manage monthly invoice, providing total cost transparency for businesses.
Niall Riddell, CEO and co-founder of Paua, said: “This partnership with Roam is another step forward in Paua’s commitment to simplifying EV fleet management. The diversity of Roam’s network ensures that our users can access dependable charging solutions, whether they’re stopping briefly or parking for longer durations.”
