Peugeot has cut prices and updated the line-up for its e-Rifter electric MPV, further enhancing value.

The e-Rifter line-up now starts with the Allure, which replaces the previous Allure Premium specification level and starts from £30,100 after the PiCG

The model range now starts with the Allure, which replaces the previous Allure Premium specification level and starts from £30,100 after the current Government Plug-in Car Grant, cutting the entry price by £350.

Pricing for the GT models also falls and now starts at £33,630; down by £1,060 without losing any equipment.

At the same time, all e-Rifters will now come standard with three independent rear seats in the second row; previously an optional extra. An Ice White colour option also replaces the current Bianca White colour option, while a new key will feature a button to unlock the load area only.

It’s the latest changes to the MPV, which went electric-only earlier this year when the ICE versions were ditched, along with those of Stellantis siblings the Citroën SpaceTourer and Vauxhall Combo Life.

The electric powertrain uses a 136hp electric motor and a 50kWh battery, giving a WLTP range of up to 172 miles. All e-Rifters come standard with a 7.4kW single phase charger and can be specified with an optional 11kW charger. The e-Rifter can also be charged at up to 100kW DC rapid charging, giving a 0-80% charge in 30 minutes.

It’s available in both five-seat standard wheelbase and seven-seat long wheelbase models. All have an external height of 1.90m and a turning circle of 10.8m, while able to tow up to 750kg and featuring trailer stability technology.

Boot space ranges from 775 litres up to 3,500 litres with the seats folded.
