PoGo joins Paua EV charge card network

PoGo’s rapidly expanding network of ultra-rapid chargers is being made available via the Paua EV ‘fuel card’ under a new deal.

The deal will give fleet drivers hassle-free access to PoGo’s rapidly expanding network of ultra-rapid chargers

The partnership means fleet drivers can quickly and easily find a PoGo charge point and pay for their EV charging session using the Paua app and charge card.

Swarco Smart Charging launched the PoGo network in April this year in a move to significantly improve the availability and reliability of ‘on-the-go’ charging.

Paua’s new roaming agreement with PoGo means its fleet users will have access to an additional 100+ charge point connectors across the UK – with many more locations coming on board as the fast-growing EV charging network continues to expand. It’s working to create a network of over 2,000 ultra-modern, ultra-rapid charging stations by 2027.

Stuart Douglas, managing director of PoGo, said: “The aim for PoGo is to enhance the charging experience for EV drivers by eliminating the inconvenience of long charging times by providing best-in-class rapid and ultra-rapid charging, which aligns with Paua’s own mission for businesses.

“We know first-hand, from our experience as a business with an electric fleet, just how important charge point availability, convenience and reliability is. PoGo ticks all these boxes, and with our growth plans fleet drivers will have more and more places to find a PoGo charge point.”

Paua is supporting businesses switching to an electric fleet by simplifying the EV charging process and takes advantage of its technology to ensure 100% renewable supplies to all of its network partners. The Paua platform tracks all charging sessions made by a fleet’s drivers and provides a single monthly VAT receipt.

Niall Riddell, CEO and co-founder of Paua, said: “Paua drivers seek the widest network of national charge points, and the variety of locations at which PoGo chargers can be found – from strategic roads to prime locations in rural regions – extends our ability to meet customers’ needs for charging. PoGo’s use of 100% renewable energy, combined with easy access to its sites, will also make the PoGo network a real hit with our drivers.”
