Mercedes’ updated eVito electric van is now on sale in the UK, priced from £40,895.

The updated eVito is now on sale

Offered in a choice of two lengths and two trim levels, it carries over many of the updates already introduced on the diesel Vito, including increased equipment and debuts a new Plus Package.

Standard equipment has been upgraded and now includes Audio 30 infotainment with DAB radio, reverse camera, anti-theft protection package with double-locks, a new-style grille with chrome fins, and a Type 2 8m, 32A charging cable.

It also now gets Mercedes Pro Connect integrated telematics as standard across all trim lines, giving real-time reports of critical parts and fluids, journey logs, theft warning alerts, live locking from a mobile phone, geofencing, accident & breakdown management, and live traffic information. In the case of the eVito, it can be used for pre-conditioning of the heaters and highlights the vehicle charging options nearby.

The new Plus Package features electrically foldable mirrors, colour-coded bumpers, full wheel covers, a 75mph speed limiter and Parktronic parking sensors. It’s priced from £42,015 for the 35kWh L2 panel van.
