Pro EV is working with UK schools to help them access government electric vehicle charge point funding.

Earlier this year, the Government increased the EV charge point grant for education settings.

State-funded schools, colleges, nurseries and academies can now access a grant that provides up to 75% of the cost to buy and install charge points; delivering up to £2,500 per socket, compared to the previous £350.

Paid for by the Department for Transport (DfT), the grant forms part of the Workplace Charging Scheme and could also help schools to generate revenue by making their charge points available to the public.

Pro EV has installed hundreds of EV charging stations, helping schools across the UK to go green and improve infrastructure.

Its services include expert site surveys and advice, as well as installation and maintenance, providing a one-stop shop for all EV charger needs. This includes assisting educational organisations in accessing available grants to reduce the cost of EV charging infrastructure.

“At Pro EV we understand that every EV charger installation is unique and based around your organisation’s needs. When you have your EV charging infrastructure installed by Pro EV, you can be confident that your solution is made to measure,” said Paul Constable, founder and CEO.
