Global mobility and connectivity firm Radius has made a £10m investment into its EV division, Radius Charge, further reinforcing its charging proposition for fleets.

Bill Holmes, CEO of Radius

The investment follows its acquisition of two EV solutions companies, EV Charging Solutions and EV Back Office, while the company is also nearing the completion of its new technology hub in Crewe.

The funds will be invested in charging hardware and will also bolster the head count within the team, enabling Radius to provide first-rate service, global leading software and technical innovation to keep a focus on developing solutions as technology and trends progress.

The business says it’s now uniquely placed to support fleets with their EV transition and charging needs as the countdown continues to the 2030 ICE ban.

Radius Charge spans everything from assessing EV readiness and providing vehicles, to installing charge points and delivering charge cards, working with a range of well-known partners. It says it’s able to get businesses up and running with their EV solutions within 14 days.

Bill Holmes, CEO of Radius, said: “Our reason for being is to help customers navigate to a sustainable future and with this latest investment into EV charging and renewable energy, we are now able to help businesses make the transition to a greener fleet solution.

“Our Radius Charge division will provide customers with trusted help and advice to enable them to save money, run more efficiently and meet their sustainability targets. All this whilst providing outstanding service and using our technology hub to continually evolve our solutions to keep up with the developing landscape.”
