Raw Charging has activated a further 250 EV charge points at more than 50 Greene King sites since March 2023 – one of the fastest rollouts in the hospitality sector.

Raw has activated over 500 EV charge points for Greene King across the UK since the firms partnered in October 2021

The two firms first announced their collaboration in October 2021, providing EV charging as a community service, and the fast-paced deployment continues with a plan in place to bring online a further 25 sites per month going forward.

In total so far, Raw has activated over 500 EV charge points for Greene King across the UK since the rollout began.

Under the deal, Raw funds, installs and operates the EV chargers for Greene King for selected sites across its portfolio. It’s providing multiple EV chargers at each site, allowing customers to charge their electric vehicles whilst visiting Greene King locations.

Raw’s other major clients include Merlin Entertainments, Bespoke Hotels and National Trust alongside commercial property owners where the charging firm is developing brownfield land into their own Charge Yards including new developments in Bishop Auckland and Croydon.

Jason Simpson, CEO, Raw Charging, said: “EV charging is now a must have for hospitality, leisure and retail businesses. The speed of our rollout at Greene King sites demonstrates the importance of reliable charging infrastructure for one of the UK’s leading pub retailers. At Raw Charging, we are a leading provider of EV charging solutions and we are seen as the go-to charge point operator for businesses in the hospitality, leisure and retail sectors.”
