Raw Charging is once again offering free charging across its network on Friday 23 December to help drivers get home for Christmas.

The free charging offer will run across all Raw Charging sites on 23 December, including the Slough Charge Yard site

The company runs one of the largest networks of public and EV charging across the UK and Europe, including popular sites such as the McArthurGlen outlets in York, Cheshire Oaks and the new site in the East Midlands, plus Greene King pubs across the UK, and the Slough Charge Yard.

All sites will offer free charging for drivers throughout the day on 23 December, starting at 12:01am and with normal fees resuming at 23:59 on the same day. There will be a mix of fast AC and DC ultra-rapid chargers available and the free charging will be available through the ChargePoint app or by using an RFID card.

Raw also offered free charging for September’s World EV Day, which saw record levels of charging across the network.

Bruce Galliford, CEO, said: “We’d like to do our bit to ensure fellow EV drivers get home for Christmas with a full charge by offering free charging across our network on the 23 December. We try and keep our charging rates down across the UK and we’d like to thank our customers by offering free AC and DC charging. Our customers, the reliability of our chargers and the service we offer are all integral parts of the business and we strive to be a personal and flexible network to suit the needs of EV drivers.”
