The announcement follows the first delivery of a Kangoo Z.E. to a business customer earlier this week. Branded Z.E. Expert, each dealership will have at least two trained electric vehicle specialists working in the showroom and a team of three workshop staff trained to explain the benefits of electromobility and maintain the carmaker’s latest models.

In addition to staff training, the dealerships all have their own Kangoo Z.E. demonstrator available for test drives, and a workshop fitted with speclaist ramps and equipment. Renault’s preferred installation partner British Gas has fitted three Chargemaster charging points, including a dummy unit for showroom demonstrations, at each site.

Backing up the first Z.E. Experts is a web-based live chat service and freephone UK helpline to give advice to potential customers, while all other dealers have been given an induction course to be able to handle electric vehicle queries.
