Renault wins 2,000-vehicle procurement contract

The carmaker’s models were selected in two separate categories, and will be supplied to government and public authorities as part of ongoing attempts to develop the country’s electric vehicle population. Two compact electric vans, built by French manufacturer Mia, will also be available on the scheme.

It also builds on an existing relationship with UGAP. Renault is to supply more than 17,000 electric vehicles to the group over the next three years, of which 15,000 will be the Kangoo Z.E. Deliveries are already underway.
