Rightcharge bolsters board with ex-JLR director and senior industry execs
Electric vehicle charging company Rightcharge has bolstered its board with three new appointments to further accelerate its UK operations and support international expansion.
David Betteley, who has extensive experience in the automotive sector in the UK, Europe and around the world, joins as chair of the Board. His previous roles include MD of Vauxhall Finance and Masterlease, senior VP for Toyota Financial Services and global financial services director for Jaguar Land Rover (JLR).
Also joining the board are Grethe Skundberg – general partner at Link Capital, a clean energy venture capital fund and shareholder in Rightcharge, and Julia Stent – a start-up and scale-up leader – with each playing a key role in further cementing Rightcharge’s reputation as a leader in the EV charging sector.

Rightcharge has already secured investment from Link Venture Capital as well as a host of Angel investors including James Hind (founder of Carwow), Mike Allen (Zeus Capital / early investor in Carwow) and Stuart Dyble (co-founder of Influence emobility / former board member at Jaguar Land Rover).
Rightcharge has also established several partnerships with key industry companies including Lookers, Select Car Leasing and Green Flag.
