Seven-seat Prius emits 96g/km, Toyota reveals

By / 13 years ago / International News / No Comments

This makes the Prius+ the only seven-seat car to come in at less than 100g/km, in turn allowing it to avoid congestion charging and road tax charges in entry-level T4 trim. Move up to the T Spirit, and emissions rise slightly to 101g/km, with 64.2mpg on the combined cycle against the T4’s 68.9mpg.

To avoid impacting on interior space, the lithium ion hybrid battery is located in the car’s centre console, allowing the five rear seats to fold independently. With the third row stowed, the Prius+ offers a 505-litre load area.

The Prius+ is available to order now, starting at £26,195 for the T4, with deliveries schedules for the 9th of July.
