Positioned below the Enyaq and Enyaq Coupe in Škoda’s line-up, it’s designed to distil the qualities of Škoda’s existing EVs into a more compact package.

The launch line-up includes three powertrain variants – the Elroq 50, 60 and 85 – featuring different battery sizes and rear motor output depending on the version. A range-topping 85x version with an extra motor for all-wheel drive is expected to arrive later. Trim grades encompass the familiar SE, SE L, Edition and SportLine designations.

The range starts with the Elroq SE 50, priced from £31,500. It’s fitted with a 55kWh (52kWh net) battery and a 170hp rear-mounted motor, and is capable of more than 230 miles of WLTP range.

Design features include 19-inch silver alloy wheels, LED headlights and LED rear lights, while the interior comes with Škoda’s Loft design selection complete with fabric and artificial leather upholstery, grey headlining and a two-spoke leather multifunction steering wheel. Equipment delivers a 13.0-inch touchscreen display, digital cockpit and single-zone climate control as standard, while safety systems include a rear-view camera with rear parking sensors, traffic sign recognition and blind spot detection.

Next up is the Elroq SE L, priced from £33,350 and featuring the 60 powertrain with a 63kWh (59kWh net) battery and 204hp rear motor. It delivers increased range of more than 250 miles WLTP along with extra equipment, including a two-spoke leather heated multifunction steering wheel with paddles for recuperation selection, heated front seats, satellite navigation and the Škoda Connect system. It’s also kitted out with dual-zone climate control, drive mode select, front parking sensors and preparation for a tow bar.

The Elroq Edition model comes with two powertrain options; 60 and 85, the latter featuring an 82kWh (77kWh net) battery that can deliver up to 360 miles on the WLTP cycle and also comes with a 285hp rear-mounted motor. The Edition 60 and 85 models are priced at £34,450 and £38,650 respectively.

Edition models add 19-inch anthracite alloy wheels, dark chrome roof rails and window surround and privacy glass with acoustic side windows. Onboard equipment includes travel assist plus, predictive adaptive cruise control with traffic jam assist, keyless entry, and wireless charging (15W) with cooling function.

SportLine is the flagship model of the Elroq rang and comes with the 60 and 85 powertrains, with WLTP ranges of up to 258 miles and 355 miles respectively. SportLine models stand out with 20-inch black alloy wheels, matrix LED headlights, SportLine bumpers and gloss black roof rails, door mirrors and tailgate lettering.

Inside, SportLine models come with a bespoke Design Selection that features microsuede and artificial leather upholstery, carbon effect decorative inserts, front sports seats and a black headlining. A three-spoke artificial leather heated sports multifunction steering wheel with paddles for recuperation level selection is also fitted as standard.

The Elroq SportLine also comes with progressive dynamic steering as standard and an electrically operated tailgate with kick activation and rear side airbags. SportLine models are priced at £37,400 for the 60 and £41,600 for the 85 version.

The Elroq 50 and 60 versions can be charged at up to 145kW, giving a 10-80% charge in 25 minutes while the Elroq 85 with the larger battery can take advantage of 175kW DC rapid charging capability.

Options include five different alloy wheels, two interior Design Selections and stand-alone equipment such as a heat pump, dynamic chassis control and an electrically retractable tow bar. Customers can also choose from a range of option packs that bundle a selection of commonly chosen features into a single item.
