Škoda has given its Enyaq and Enyaq Coupé a mid-life revamp, delivering the brand’s latest design language and technology along with enhanced aerodynamics and revised powertrain line-up.

First launched in 2020, the Enyaq electric SUV and its Coupé counterpart are among Europe’s most successful all‑electric models and the updates boost their appeal further.

Prominent changes include the arrival of the brand’s new Modern Solid design language, already seen on the new Elroq compact electric SUV. This combines the glossy black Tech-Deck Face, which conceals sensors such as the radar system and front camera, and new Škoda lettering to replace the logo on the bonnet, finished in Unique Dark Chrome. The Enyaq also gets latest LED headlight units and a new exclusive Olive Green colour.

The new design features also help optimise aerodynamics, with the relaunched Enyaq Coupé now marked out as the most aerodynamic model in Škoda’s current portfolio.

The cabin gains more sustainable materials and standard equipment, along with enhanced digital capabilities and six different Design Selections, while the new Enyaq family also features more advanced assistance systems.

The powertrain line-up has been revamped, scrapping the entry-level 50 versions that arrived last year and reinstating the 60 model. In all, there are two battery sizes and three powertrain options.

The returning Enyaq 60 range-opener, only available with the SUV body, comes with a 63kWh (gross) battery and 204hp rear-mounted motor, giving a 8.1-second 0-62mph time, 99mph top speed and 268-mile WLTP range. It’s able to charge at up to 11kW AC and 165kW DC, the latter giving a 10 to 80% charge in 24 minutes.

The Enyaq 85 version is available with both the SUV and the Coupé and carries over its pre-facelift 82kWh battery and 286hp rear-mounted motor. It’s good for a 0-62mph sprint in 6.7 seconds, 111mph top speed and 359-mile range (365 miles for the Coupé). The larger battery can be charged at 11kW AC while the DC fast-charging rate is 175kW, enabling a 10 to 80% charge in 28 minutes.

The top-rung 85x model is again available with the Coupé too and pairs the same 82kWh battery as the Enyaq 85 with a dual-motor setup that delivers 286hp and all-wheel drive. It bears the same performance and charging specs as the 85 model but with a 332-mile electric range (334 miles for the Coupé).

A more powerful and higher-equipped dual-motor vRS range-topper is expected to arrive at a later date.

The UK grade line-up at launch includes SE L, Edition and SportLine variants.

The entry-level SE L model is available exclusively with the SUV body and Enyaq 60 powertrain. It comes with 19-inch silver alloy wheels, LED headlights and rear lights as well as keyless entry with walkaway locking function. The cabin is equipped with a 5‑inch Digital Cockpit, 13-inch infotainment screen with satellite navigation and electric boot with Virtual pedal. Driver assistance systems include Predictive Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Assist Plus and Blind Spot Detection.

The Edition trim is available as both an SUV and Coupé with the 60 (SUV) and 85 (SUV and coupé) powertrains. Edition models add in 19-inch anthracite alloy wheels, full LED Matrix headlights and unique dark chrome roof rails and window trim.

The SportLine variant is solely available with the 85x all-wheel-drive powertrain and comes with a high-gloss black finish on the front spoiler, side window trim, and the roof rails of the SUV version, as well as wing mirror caps in metallic black. Both the front and rear lettering are also finished in black, whilst the SportLine badge features on the tailgate. The SportLine also comes with 20-inch alloy wheels in metallic black as standard.

SportLine equipment includes the illuminated Tech-Deck, head-up display, area view camera, progressive dynamic steering and sports suspension.

The optional Park Assist introduces two new functions. Remote Park Assist allows the Enyaq to automatically enter parallel and perpendicular parking spaces while the owner controls it via the MyŠkoda app on their smartphone.

Trained Parking enables the car to ‘learn’ approaches of up to 50m to five specific parking locations. Once a saved space is recognised, the Enyaq can drive itself there automatically, using the Remote Trained Parking. This is controlled via the MyŠkoda app.

Keyless entry, standard for the Enyaq, gains an Open-On-Approach function, which unlocks the doors and tailgate when the key holder comes within 1.5m of the car. Walk-Away Locking automatically locks the vehicle when the key moves beyond 2.5m.

The new Enyaq also introduces several new Simply Clever details to the series, such as a QR code in the boot, while other practical features include a sustainable ice scraper with a tyre tread depth gauge integrated into the boot door panel, a sustainable umbrella in the driver’s door compartment, and mobile phone pockets on the backs of the front seats. The boot also offers two bag hooks and a retractable boot cover, which can be operated with a single touch.

Also new is a Heaters function, which automatically turns on up to four heating features, and fast-charging front and rear USB-C ports with up to 45W of power.

Boot space stands at 585 to 1,710 litres in the Enyaq and 570 to 1,610 litres in the Enyaq Coupé.

UK prices will be announced closer to the launch.
