Skywell confirms UK model launch plans amid new dealer openings
Chinese EV brand Skywell has outlined its UK model plans as it expands the dealer network.
The first vehicle, the BE11, is a midsize all-electric family SUV (see test here) said to offer generous levels of equipment, affordability, style and practicality.
Over the next 18 months, the BE11 will be joined by the all-electric Skywell Q, an all-new C-segment hatchback, and the Skyhome D-segment all-electric saloon, along with the large panel van already previewed and introducing Skywell into the UK commercial vehicle market.
The brand launched in China in 2017 as a joint venture between one of the world’s largest consumer electronics groups, Skyworth, and electric bus maker Nanjing Golden Dragon, and its vehicles are being imported here by Gloucestershire-based Innovation Automotive.
Skywell UK has also appointed Armstrong Vehicle Centre (AVC) as the main dealer for the Cumbria, Dumfries and Glasgow area, and the BE11 is already available to test drive at both the Carlisle and Glasgow showrooms.
In addition to new vehicle sales, AVC will also serve as the Skywell authorised repairer for the area, offering servicing, MOTs, repairs, genuine Skywell parts.

All Skywell cars are backed by a seven-year/ 100,000-mile vehicle warranty, an additional eight-year/155,000-mile warranty for the battery and up to 10 years of roadside assistance in partnership with the AA.
