Smart’s #1 is now available on the Motability Scheme, helping to ensure electric mobility is accessible to all.

Smart is offering nil advance payment and delivery within a month for all #1 Pro+ orders on the Motability Scheme

The electric SUV is being offered with a zero advance payment and delivery within a month for Pro+ variants, underscoring Smart’s commitment to benefiting the mobility community.

Launched last year, the #1 is available in four grades: Pro, Pro+, Premium and the performance Brabus model.

The Pro+ grade on the Motability Scheme features a 268hp motor mounted on the rear axle, giving a 0-62mph time of 6.7 seconds. It’s fed by a 62kWh battery and has a 260-mile WLTP official range. The 7.4kW AC onboard charger enables a 10-80% capacity in less than 7.5 hours while DC charging at up to 150kW delivers the same charge in less than 30 minutes.

Jason Allbutt, CEO of Smart UK, said: “We are proud to be able to offer the new Smart #1 to Motability customers.

“Smart was the first manufacturer to transition to 100% BEVs in the UK and our new range of larger family EVs now offers practicality, over-the-air connectivity, range (up to 273 miles) and an unrivalled level of advanced safety features. We look forward to supporting Motability via our agent network across the UK.”

Sam Wickenden, manufacturer relations manager at Motability Operations, commented: “We are delighted to have brand representation from Smart on the Motability Scheme. Customers increasingly have a wide range of manufacturers to choose from but #1 widens our EV offering even more and we are looking forward to working with Smart on future product launches.”
