Titan Airways has committed to offering electric vehicles on salary sacrifice to its staff.

The scheme will help Titan staff go electric while also saving money on tax and NI in the process

The charter airline has teamed up with Tusker to enable eligible employees to join the EV company car scheme, helping drivers go electric while also saving money on tax and NI in the process.

Titan staff will be able to get a brand-new electric car built to order, or from a wide range of stock vehicles available at short notice. The all-inclusive contracts provide insurance, replacement tyres, road tax (if applicable), routine servicing and maintenance, as well as RAC breakdown cover, for a fixed monthly amount, taken via a salary sacrifice arrangement.

Liz Austin, HR director at Titan Airways, said: “We’ve been working really hard over the past year, in consultation with all our team members, to ensure we are improving our suite of benefits and policies which have a positive impact for our people. We’re really excited about the introduction of the new EV scheme with Tusker, both for the positive environmental impacts it will bring as we continue to move toward a more sustainable future, and for our people, who will be able to get a fantastic vehicle at great value.”

Tusker’s services, which also include vehicle maintenance and charging infrastructure support, will enable Titan Airways to seamlessly integrate electric vehicles into its operations.

Kit Wisdom, managing director at Tusker, commented: “Titan recognise the importance of providing their employees with excellent benefits, which not only reduce the impact on the environment, but also save the employee some money. We’re looking forward to providing a sustainable travel solution for Titan employees.”
