Announced by the Advanced Propulsion Centre (APC), in partnership with the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) and Innovate UK, recipients will be decided following a single-stage competition for funding.

The aim is to further research and development of technologies which will deliver significant reductions in carbon and other emissions compared to best-in-class systems, while aligning with the Automotive Council Technology Group roadmaps for advanced propulsion and helping to boost the UK’s supply chain.

Projects must be collaborative and business-led, with partners including a vehicle manufacturer or Tier 1 supplier, and an SME partner, and no more than 50% of the total cost must come from the public funding.

Applications are being accepted from today (10th November 2014) with a deadline of the 7th January 2015.
