Onto is adding 700 Corsa-e and Mokka-e cars to its fleet, offering WLTP ranges of 222 and 209 miles respectively.

As with all Onto cars, they’re available with an all-inclusive monthly subscription, providing customers with insurance, 750 miles per month, servicing and maintenance, and public charging at more than 12,000 points.

It’s the latest expansion for the Onto fleet. Founded in 2017, the business is focused on accelerating EV adoption and offering a sustainable, flexible and hassle-free alternative to traditional car ownership. It now has more than 5,500 active subscribers and is said to have the largest electric car fleet in the UK.

Both of the Vauxhall electric cars are powered by a 50kWh battery connected to a 136hp electric motor. They support up to 100kW rapid charging; an 80% charge takes just 30 minutes.

All the Vauxhalls on the Onto scheme have been supplied in Elite Premium trim, which features a striking exterior design enhanced by 17-inch bi-colour alloy wheels and a contrasting black roof, while the Corsa-e also benefits from IntelliLux LED Matrix headlights.

Onboard equipment includes a 12-inch digital instrument display and 10-inch central touchscreen for the Mokka-e, while infotainment on the Corsa-e is provided via a 10-inch colour touchscreen which, like the Mokka-e, comes equipped with Satellite Navigation and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto.

Further features include heated front seats and a heated steering wheel, as well as front and rear parking sensors. Safety and driving aids encompass driver drowsiness alert, speed sign recognition and automatic emergency city braking. The Mokka-e adds additional features including adaptive cruise control, forward collision alert (all speeds), and side blind spot alert and flank guard.

Paul Willcox, managing director, Vauxhall, said: “Our aim is to democratise access to electric vehicles, so partnering with Onto is a great way for more drivers to be able to experience the benefits of driving electric.”
