Vector adds to Auckland charging network

The firm said it will continue to expand the charger network as EVs become more commonplace in New Zealand.

“It is our plan to install the right charging solutions at the right places,” said Simon Mackenzie, Vector's CEO. “In the next six months, Vector will install at least another 13 rapid chargers.

“Newmarket is an excellent site in that you can get easy motorway access northbound and southbound so rapid chargers are a good fit, but Newmarket also boasts movie theatres and great restaurants, in which case drivers can use the standard charger while they are enjoying these facilities.”
