Compleo Charging Solutions UK will be offering free EV charging at its UK headquarters in Abingdon on 9 September in celebration of World EV Day.

Compleo is encouraging EV drivers in the Abingdon area to visit and charge up for free on World EV Day

The leading manufacturer of EV charge points will be running the free charging offer from 9am to 5pm on the day. Its charging stations are equipped to handle a wide range of electric vehicles, ensuring that everyone can take advantage of this offer.

In addition to offering free charging, Compleo will also have experts on-site to answer any questions about EV charging technology, provide demonstrations of its latest products, and discuss the future of e-Mobility.

World EV Day is a global movement that recognises the importance of sustainable transportation and the role that electric vehicles play in reducing carbon emissions. As a company committed to driving the transition to a greener future, Compleo is supporting this initiative by encouraging anyone in the Abingdon area to visit and charge up for free.

“We are excited to participate in World EV Day by providing free charging to the EV community,” said Clare Nicol, head of marketing at Compleo UK. “This is a fantastic opportunity for us to engage with EV drivers, showcase our cutting-edge charging solutions, and give a little something back to EV drivers.”

The company has seven AC chargers onsite, capable of charging an EV at 22kW. Visitors can also have a sneak peek at its new 200kW charger, showcased earlier this year and now undergoing pre-commissioning and final checks.

Compleo is a short walk from McDonalds and a large Tesco, while Abingdon town centre is a 20-minute walk. EV drivers wanting to stay onsite while charging can take advantage of a free coffee, WiFi and a space to work.
