Zurich UK has signed up Europcar Mobility Group UK as sole supplier for temporary replacement vehicles.

Ron Santiago, managing director, Europcar Mobility Group UK

The new three-year contract draws on Europcar’s commitment to offering a best-in-class, end-to-end solution for all insurance mobility claim types, supported by ongoing new innovations. These include its introduction of Cogent Hire (non-fault credit hire) and a dedicated insurance support team at its Leicester HQ. It’s also focused on offering a seamless digital customer journey and fleet management platform.

The deal will also enable Zurich to move to an ‘EV-for-EV’ model for its customers as the market transitions, underpinned by the Europcar fleet of hybrid and fully electric vehicles.

Amy Brettell, head of customer for Claims at Zurich UK, commented: “We believe the Europcar customer-first culture and its strong focus on a sustainable offering is the perfect match to our own brand values. Moving forwards, this will provide solid foundations for a successful partnership.”

Ron Santiago, managing director, Europcar Mobility Group UK, added: “We have firmly established our dedicated solutions for the insurance sector, working with a variety of partners to provide like-for-like, efficient replacement vehicle services. We are delighted to have secured the contract with Zurich, supporting its customer-first goals.”
