Audi e-tron GT gets cheaper base model

Audi has slashed the entry price for its e-tron GT electric grand tourer with a new entry-level version.

Priced from £88,555, the new base model joins the facelifted GT family that launched last year and includes the S e-tron GT, RS e-tron GT and RS e-tron GT performance.

The new dual-motor powertrain outputs 503hp, rising to 584hp with Launch Control, dispatching the 0-62mph sprint in 4.0 seconds.

The 105kWh (gross) battery can cover up to 384 miles (WLTP) and is also able to charge at up to 320kW, regaining around 177 miles of range in 10 minutes.

It’s available with standard and Vorsprung specification options, the latter adding features such as all-wheel steering, a head-up display, Nappa leather upholstery and Bang & Olufsen audio.

The new entry-level Grand Tourer is available to order in the UK from 24 June with deliveries due to begin in August.
