Taking place on Friday 21 October at 12:30pm, the event will feature a panel of expert speakers and will provide go-to insight on the opportunities for businesses as they switch to alternative fuels.

Speakers include AA president Edmund King, director of business services James Starling, EV new business development manager Dean Hedger and BVRLA director of corporate affairs Toby Poston.

Topics up for discussion and debate include EV charging infrastructure, payment options, taxation and the role hydrogen could play in the future fuel mix.

The third in the AA’s B2B 2022 series, the webinar will also see the launch of the AA’s yellow paper ‘Alternative Fuels: Thriving in a changing landscape’.

James Starling, director of business services at the AA, said: “The transition to electric and alternatively fuelled vehicles is fast gathering pace. But we’re also keenly aware that our customers are facing continual change and challenge as the political and business landscape continues to evolve. It’s certain too that we are going to experience a huge amount of innovation, regulatory change and legal developments as the journey continues.

“That’s why we’re looking at the topic of alternative fuels now, reviewing the current landscape, and providing expert guidance to help businesses, wherever they are on their journey. There are many opportunities ahead to embrace.”
