The cars are part of a recently signed partnership between General Motors France and Euro Disney Associates, which will allow the carmaker to promote its vehicles using the Disney brand and showcase them at the Disneyland Paris resort.

As well as showcasing new models such as the forthcoming Zafira Tourer, the two companies will work together on joint projects to help promote the benefits of electric vehicles and alternative energy, while raising awareness of the Ampera itself.

Disneyland Paris, meanwhile, will replace its entire commercial vehicle fleet with Opel models starting in January 2012, including the Movano, Vivaro and Combo, giving General Motors product placement in front of the resort’s 15 million annual visitors.

Philippe Gas, CEO of Euro Disney, said: ‘With this partnership, we and Opel are united in our commitment to reduce fossil fuels and greenhouse gas production. This partnership will allow us to fully support steps towards responsible mobility that are being taken by the Opel brand in France.’

Yves Pasquier-Desvignes, chairman of General Motors France, added: ‘Innovation has always been at the heart of the Opel brand, and this agreement will let us develop major joint operations to present the latest technological innovations from Opel that are designed to reduce daily emissions and consumption in order to benefit both clients and their families.’
