Digital tickets are now available for next month’s BVRLA Fleets in Charge Conference, enabling fleets unable to make the full event to still take part in some of the sessions.

The Fleets in Charge event will see leading policymakers and EV champions discuss how the fleet sector is driving the UK’s decarbonisation plans

The day-long conference takes place in London on 7 July and will see leading policymakers and electric vehicle champions discuss how the fleet sector is driving the UK’s decarbonisation plans.

A limited number of physical tickets are still available, while the new online livestream tickets (£99, or £49 to BVRLA members) will give delegates the chance to join all of the morning sessions, as well as two of the four afternoon breakouts. They will also be able to submit questions to panelists in real time, while also having access to a virtual networking space.

Chaired by Peter Campbell, global motor industry correspondent for the Financial Times, the morning programme opens with a talk on ‘The Big Picture’ from Transport Minister Trudy Harrison MP, Bob Moran & Caroline Low of the Department for Transport, and Ian Constance from the Advanced Propulsion Centre.

This will be followed by ‘The Journey to Zero Emission Fleets’, comprising three expert panels who will look at vehicle demand, supply, and infrastructure in turn.

After lunch, digital delegates will be able to join two breakout sessions: ‘The New Normal – Explaining Emerging Business Models’ and ‘Innovation Zone – What’s next for the industry?’. Both will see a plethora of suppliers and experts tackle topics varying from hydrogen and truck conversion, through to EV subscriptions and trucking as a service.

BVRLA chief executive, Gerry Keaney said: “This conference embraces the role the fleet industry is playing in driving road transport decarbonisation, as well as our collective responsibility in continuing that journey. Our guest speakers are the architects drawing up the blueprints for the 2030 phase-out and will share key insights for fleet operators and mobility providers.”
