Cenex LCV2013 to offer free EV charging

The event, which takes place 4-5 September at Milbrook Proving Ground, will include six fast charging points installed at the end of Millbrook’s mile straight, allowing attendees to drive to the event on electricity and leave their car to charge.

The fast charging points come from APT’s Evolt range of electric vehicle charging solutions, which have been supplied to 25 local authorities.

The charging points are being provided by Source East, which has a network of 460 charging points across the East of England. In addition, complimentary Source East membership will be given to every driver booked to use these visitors charging facilities, providing them with access to other charging points around the East of England.

Drivers wishing to use this service are asked to email Hannah Burton at sourceeast@sourceeast.net with their name and which day they will be attending. During the event an APT engineer will be on hand to assist drivers.
