The Scottish Government has launched a consultation into parking incentives for ULEVs.

Open until midnight on 30 June 2017, the consultation is being carried out ahead of the development of new policies which are expected to form part of a Transport Bill in this session of Parliament.

The consultation calls for opinions on local authority trials and introductions of parking incentives for ULEVs, such as discounted, free or preferential parking. It also explores pavement parking and considers whether changes need to be made to parking enforcement and whether local authorities should be able use CCTV and/or Automatic Number Plate Recognition systems for enforcement of parking.
