Enterprise Car Club strikes mobility deal with Beryl

Enterprise Car Club has signed a new deal with micro mobility provider Beryl, further promoting the benefits of shared transport.

Beryl users in selected areas can now explore the benefits of shared transport through Enterprise Car Club

The partnership encourages Beryl users in selected areas to explore the benefits of Enterprise Car Club through discounted membership rates and free driving credits.

Enterprise Car Club members can already enjoy a free 200 Minute Beryl Bundle when they sign up to the micro mobility provider, which offers bikes, e-bikes and scooters.

The new scheme creates a reciprocal arrangement, making it quick and simple for Beryl users to link with an Enterprise Car Club car, which can then be used for longer journeys or those that require four wheels.

Enterprise said the latest tie-up was part of its ongoing commitment to delivering more convenient, connected travel by integrating different types of shared transport. It also provides an alternative to private ownership, helping people to save money on costs such as fuel, insurance, tax, MOT and maintenance. A recent survey by shared transport charity CoMoUK found 73% of car club members said they saved money compared to owning a car.

Dan Gursel, managing director of Enterprise Car Club, said: “By teaming up with Beryl we are helping to connect the travel chain, making it easier for people to travel without needing to own a car.

“Shared and active travel benefits individuals and communities by increasing physical activity, reducing congestion and driving down emissions.  It’s fantastic that we can partner with innovators like Beryl to bring multi-modal travel and the benefits of shared ownership to more people.”
