EO brings smart charging benefits to EV fleets

Fleets running electric vehicles can now benefit from automatic load management without the need to upgrade to a smart charging infrastructure with the help of EO Charging.

The eoALM module can be combined with an eoMini or eoBasic charger

The electric vehicle charging manufacturer has developed its ‘eoALM’ unit for SMEs to enable them to take into consideration the energy usage limits on their building. The unit can be combined with up to six eoMini or eoBasic chargers and enables users to prioritise charging of EVs, turn down the power going to EV chargers or simply turn them off if the site is nearing its power usage limit.

Charlie Jardine, founder and CEO at EO Charging, said: “We know that not every EV driver or business owner is in a position to invest in smart-charging technology. The ‘eoALM’ unit was designed in collaboration with our installation partners to ensure they’re able to offer a simple, and cost-effective charging solution. Installers around the UK have been screaming for the ‘eoALM’ and we’re excited to showcase what this little black box of magic will do.”
