Fiat reveals prices and specs for new Doblò and all-electric E-Doblò vans

Orders are now open for the new Fiat Doblò line-up, which includes the first-ever all-electric E-Doblò variant with a 175-mile range.

The first-ever all-electric E-Doblò variant delivers a 175-mile range

Designed to be versatile and modular, the new E-Doblò and Doblò also feature new connectivity, infotainment and safety technologies, and are priced from £27,855 (after PiVG, excluding VAT) and from £18,855 (excluding VAT) respectively.

Built on the same Stellantis platform as their Peugeot, Citroën and Vauxhall siblings, along with the Toyota Proace City, the new models are available in the UK in two lengths and van and crew cab configurations.

The short wheelbase panel van has a cargo volume of 3.3m3 and an external length of 4.4m, while the long wheelbase version has a cargo volume of 3.9m3 with a length of 4.75m.

Meanwhile, the crew cab – only available with a long wheelbase – has a cargo volume of 3.5m3 and a length of 4.75m.

Payload is 800kg for the fully electric version and up to 1,000kg for ICE versions.

The E-Doblò is the third fully electric vehicle in Fiat Professional’s product range after the E-Ducato and E-Scudo, and features a 136hp electric motor that delivers up to 260Nm of torque and a top speed of 80mph. It’s connected to a 50kWh battery that can be charged at up to 100kW DC, giving an 80% charge in 30 minutes. Drivers can choose between different modes: Normal, Eco and Power.

The line-up also includes a 1.5-litre BlueHDi diesel with either 100hp and manual gearbox or 130hp and automatic box, plus a 1.2-litre Puretech petrol with 110hp and manual gearbox.

In line with the focus on modularity, the new E-Doblò and Doblò are equipped with a Magic Cargo feature which enables the vans to carry up to three people in the front seats or increase the length and working volume. The driver can also raise the seat on the passenger side and use the compartment underneath for boxes or fragile objects.

The E-Doblo also comes with Fiat Professional’s Magic Plug, enabling the battery to be used to power tools or other electric appliances.

Two trim levels are offered – Standard and Primo – and these can be augmented with packs featuring ADAS systems and improved functionality.

Equipment on offer includes a new ‘Magic Mirror’, which uses two cameras – one under the right rear-view mirror and the other above the rear doors – to give the driver three different views, displayed on a five-inch digital rear-view mirror to aid manoeuvres.

The E-Doblò and Doblò also feature a new head-up display, presenting drivers with all key driving information without taking their eyes off the road.

Additional ADAS safety features include Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist and Blind Spot Detection.

Both vans are available with a safety pack as standard, which includes advanced emergency braking, lane departure warning and traffic sign recognition.
