Fleetmaxx Solutions and Recharge Rescue partner to support MaxxEV

Recharge Rescue, the only insured product designed specifically for EV drivers providing 24/7 emergency roadside charging, has announced a partnership with Fleetmaxx Solutions.

The MaxxEV team identified Recharge Rescue as a perfect fit for their portfolio of EV products and services

Fleetmaxx has recently launched MaxxEV – a portfolio of electric vehicle products and services to help businesses make the switch from fuel-based vehicles to EV. It’s designed to incorporate the whole journey, from sourcing and purchasing an EV, access and payment to the public charging network, route optimisation tools for effective journey planning and a dedicated EV insurance for fleets.

The MaxxEV team identified Recharge Rescue as a perfect fit for their ecosystem, providing drivers with the reassurance that should something go wrong – and they find themselves out of charge mid-journey – they could rely on a 24/7 service with mobile EV charging units that will attend, charge and get them back on their journey.

Drivers insured with Recharge Rescue can  call an emergency number if they run out of charge and a van, featuring a 7.2kW EV “fast charging” unit, will be dispatched to their location

Recharge Rescue co-founder Bruce Compton commented: “Recharge Rescue is a new insurance so partnering up with Fleetmaxx Solutions’ new EV product, MaxxEV, is both an exciting opportunity and also a logical support mechanism for fleets moving from ICE to electric. We’re looking forward to working together.”

Recharge Rescue is also set to announce further partnerships imminently as take-up of its solution grows nationally.

Launched in February 2022, the policy is offered as an insured product that sits alongside any existing breakdown insurance policy.

It’s available to both private and own business users of electric vehicles through Recharge Rescue or through a network of partners including motor dealers, leasing companies and insurance brokers.
