Further growth for Oldham Council's electric fleet

Like the LEAFs, the vans will be used as pool vehicles, shared between staff of Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service and Greater Manchester Police and based at locations across Oldham. The latest additions were supplied by West Way Nissan in Oldham.

Councillor Barbara Brownridge, cabinet member for neighbourhoods and co-operatives, said: ‘The vehicles will be available to anyone who goes out on council business and we’ve had them fully liveried as a way of making people aware of what the council does in the community without creating a pollution issue at the same time.’
