Hertz adds Toyota Prius to Australian rental fleet

The vehicles are distributed across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Canberra, and will join the Perth fleet from the start of November. Hertz said the Prius furthers its Living Journey commitment, aimed at reducing the environmental impact of its fleet and its operations.

Michel Taride, Group President, Hertz International, said: ‘Globally we are constantly looking for initiatives that reduce environmental impacts. The Green Collection highlights this commitment and features vehicles that reduce CO2 emissions to a practicable minimum.’

Chris Rusden, Regional Vice President, Hertz Australia and New Zealand, added: ‘Sustainable business practices are extremely important to us, and we're proud to expand the Green Collection in Australia with the Toyota Prius.’
