Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV goes on sale in UK

The Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV is now on sale in the UK, delivering up to 334 miles of range.

Priced from £90,560, it’s the fourth model based on the brand’s new all-electric platform and joins the existing EQS and EQE saloons as well as the EQS SUV.

It’s available in the UK with a choice of two powertrains, both with 4Matic all-wheel drive, and four different trims. The 350 4Matic delivers 292hp and 765Nm of torque, while the 500 4Matic ups this to 408hp and 858Nm. The 350 is capable of 0-60mph in 6.6 seconds and the 500 in 4.9 seconds. Both can be charged at up to 170kW.

Electric driving range varies by model, starting out at 324 miles in the EQE SUV 500 and maximising at 334 in the EQE SUV 350.

Trims span AMG Line, AMG Line Premium, AMG Line Premium Plus and Business Line designations. The AMG Line is solely available with the 350 4Matic.

Equipment in the entry-level AMG Line includes fully electric memory function sports seats with leather upholstery, Energizing Air Control, 12.8- and 12.3-inch screens for the displays, Keyless Go and active parking assist. Styling features span LED Headlamps with Adaptive Highbeam, AMG body styling and 20-inch AMG 5-spoke light alloy wheels.

The AMG Line Premium starts from £99,260 and throws in Burmester Surround Sound as standard, a built-in dashcam and Mercedes’ augmented reality for navigation, plus Intelligent Parking Pilot and Driving Assistance Package Plus. The Mercedes-Benz Hyperscreen three-screen solution can also be optioned for £7,995. Exterior features include 21-inch AMG multispoke light alloy wheels, a panoramic sliding sunroof.

The AMG Line Premium Plus comes with the Hyperscreen as standard, along with a head-up display and MBUX Interior Assistant. It also gains 22-inch AMG Multispoke light alloy wheels and a top-of-the line lighting system. Premium Plus and Business Class models also come with Rear Axle Steering up to 10 degrees.

Business Class is a swap-in option pack that focuses more on interior comfort and includes a TV Tuner with Hyperscreen, an Air Balance package, as well as a heated steering wheel and seat heating plus.

A towing package is available for £1,500.
