Mitsubishi delivers world’s largest Outlander PHEV fleet
The Ukrainian National Police force has deployed 635 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEVs, said to be the world’s largest fleet order for the hybrid SUV.

The Ukrainian police have become the world’s largest fleet operator for the Outlander PHEV.
Aiming to cut its environmental impact, the force began rolling out a fleet of Outlander PHEVs last year, replacing aged Russian-built AutoVAZ and UAZ patrol vehicles. The newcomers were delivered by local importer and distributor at a ceremony in Kiev.
The order follows an emissions trading agreement between Japanese companies under the Kyoto Protocol’s Green Investment Scheme. Mitsubishi has already deployed 507 i-MiEVs in Estonia in 2011.
