New £900k Enterprise Hub brings greener travel options to Dundee fleets

A new Enterprise Hub is now open in Dundee, providing a range of low- and zero-emission vehicles for hire by local drivers and businesses.

The new Dundee hub offers a range of low-emission cars and vans as well as four Enterprise Car Club vehicles that include EVs

Located on Kinnoull Road, the hub is Enterprise’s largest Scottish site and represents an investment of around £900k.

It’s the firm’s second Dundee site, alongside its existing location in Seagate, and increases travel options in a part of the city where there is less access to public transport.

In addition to a wide range of low-emission cars and vans, four Enterprise Car Club vehicles will be located at the new branch for hourly and daily rental, including fully electric vehicles. Car club vehicles are also located on-street at Courthouse Square and at East Whale Lane, where an electric Nissan Leaf has been operational for the past two years.

To support increased use of electric vehicles in the city, the site is equipped with two 22kW charge points that allow four cars to be charged at a time.

Diane Mulholland, general manager for Enterprise in Scotland, said: “We are continually expanding our network, services and fleet to bring greener travel options to the communities where we operate. We want to support Dundee’s outstanding efforts in driving uptake of electric vehicles.”
