A new scheme to recognise those car dealerships with staff skilled in selling and servicing electric vehicles has launched.

‘Electric Vehicle Approved’ brand aims to increase confidence of consumers

Intended to help increase confidence of consumers, the ‘Electric Vehicle Approved’ brand has been developed by the National Franchised Dealers Association (NFDA) and the Energy Saving Trust (EST) and will reward dealerships making a commitment to training as well as for advice and services. It’s also intended to help encourage dealerships make further developments in this area.

A total of 12 dealerships have already been certified under the scheme and it’s expected to reach a total of 130 across the UK by the end of 2019.
