Pink Car Leasing EV salary sacrifice scheme racks up 50 customers in five months
Pink Car Leasing’s EV salary sacrifice scheme has smashed its projected early adoption figure by more than 500% after signing 50 customers in just five months.
The firm debuted its sal sac scheme in August 2021 and initially predicted it would acquire between five and 10 customers with 1,000 to 2,000 employees; it now has more than 7,500 drivers on its books.
Launched on the back of two years of development, supported by company car advisory consultancy HRUX, the solution stands out in the marketplace for enabling businesses with just a single employee to sign up to the scheme. It also offers flexible leasing contracts from as short as six months in duration, meaning employees on fixed-term contracts can reap the benefits it offers.
Another major selling point is that a business registering to be a part of Pink Salary Exchange can be set up – and employees able to select the vehicles of their choice – within 24 hours.
Caroline Hill, Pink Car Leasing commercial director, said: “When we launched Pink Salary Exchange in August, we knew we had something special. However, we have been astonished by just how popular it is.
“When we said it was an industry leader – a game changer and light years ahead of the opposition – we weren’t exaggerating.”
