EV Charging Solutions is based in Nottingham and operates across the EV charging spectrum, from private drivers with electric cars to commercial fleets running vans and buses. The company has installed more than 10,000 domestic and commercial units to date.

It’s the latest acquisition by Radius, which was established as a fuel card company by CEO Bill Holmes in 1990, but has since exploded into the telecoms, insurance, rental/leasing and EV charging sectors.

EV Charging Solutions joins other recent acquisitions, such as Traction Finance, EV Back Office and Powerhouse Energy Management and means Radius now offers an end-to-end EV solution for customers. It’s now able to take cover of everything from analysing fleet readiness for the EV switch, to supplying vehicles, installing chargers and providing software and supplying energy.

Chris Everitt, EV Charging Solutions managing director, commented: “We are delighted to join Radius. It allows us to be part of a full end-to-end EV solution and with electric vehicles playing a big role in many businesses’ net zero goals, we’re very excited about the opportunity to help Radius’ existing and new customers on this journey.”

Radius said the deal enabled it to grow its portfolio, while providing customers with access to the group’s wider line-up of solutions, such as telematics, insurance, e-mobility and telecoms.

Bill Holmes added: “Chris and his team have nearly 10 years of experience in the EV marketplace which we believe will really help Radius as it develops its customer proposition in this exciting sector.  We are also looking forward to helping Chris scale and develop his exciting business where he has a growing domestic and commercial customer base.”
