Renault ZOE achieves five stars at Euro NCAP
The supermini, which shares its platform with the latest Clio, was awarded an 89% score for adult occupant protection, marked down only for rib compression in severe side impact tests and whiplash protection in the front seats.
Maximum points were awarded for child occupant protection, helped by easy fitting of restraining seats, while the standard-fit stability control, seatbelt warnings and automatic speed restrictor were all praised by Euro NCAP.
