Renault’s new five-year warranty to apply to EVs too

By / 5 years ago / UK News / No Comments

Renault has introduced a five-year warranty for all new passenger cars in the UK, replacing its previous three-year offering, and including on electric vehicles.

The five-year warranty is now effective on all new Renaults in the UK, including the Zoe and Twizy EVs

It’s effective from Wednesday 18 December 2019, covering all models including the electric Zoe and Twizy models – and, better still, it’s backdated for all new Clios regardless of the registration date.

The new warranty provides unlimited mileage cover for the first two years, with a 100,000-mile limit thereafter.

Vincent Tourette, managing director of Renault UK, said: “Renault is deeply committed to the quality and reliability of its products and this extended cover reinforces the confidence that both we and our customers have in our vehicles. Coming directly after the launch of all-new Clio, all-new Captur and new ZOE, this introduction arrives at an exciting new chapter for our brand.”

As before, all new Renault models will be backed by a three-year roadside assistance package with a 100,000-mile limit for Z.E. electric vehicles and new Koleos, and a 60,000-mile limit for all other models.
