The company claims to have the lowest-price products available on OLEV’s Electric Vehicle Homecharge scheme, offering a fully installed 16amp/3.6kW unit for £185 and the faster 32amp/7.2kW unit for £195.

Customers will now get free access to the Charge Your Car network when they have either installed, offering access to the scheme’s units located nationwide.

Kieron Alsop, Rolec EV’s Managing Director, commented: “Rolec EV has already manufactured over 22,000 domestic and commercial EV charging points and with CYC operating one of the, if not the, largest network of over 2,000 public facing charging points this new co-operation between our two companies brings together two leaders in the EV charging industry.

“This joining of forces will ultimately benefit the EV driver with a strategic deployment of thousands more publically accessible charging points operating throughout the UK on the CYC open network.”
