Smaller wheel option brings all DS5 models under 100g/km

Until now, the entry-level DSign trim was the only Hybrid4 model to come in under the all-important threshold. With 17-inch wheels, instead of the 19-inch versions fitted as standard, the DS5 Hybrid4’s CO2 emissions are reduced from 107g/km to 99g/km, making it congestion charge and vehicle excise duty exempt and putting both into the 10% benefit in kind tax band.

As part of the recent revisions, Citroën has also introduced two new Signature styling packs for the HDi 160 in DStyle and DSport guise. Priced at £650 apiece, these include contrasted door mirrors, 7mm lower suspension and 19-inch alloy wheels. All DS5 THP 200 versions are equipped with the Dark Sport Signature pack as standard, while Sport Signature is available as a no-cost option.

The DS5 e-HDI 110 Airdream EGS6 is now replaced with a more powerful 114bhp engine, with no effect on fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, and is renamed e-HDI 115 Airdream EGS6 as a result.
