Sogo to drive green initiatives with new headquarters
Mobility provider Sogo is supporting its growth plans with a move to new headquarters in Milton Keynes.
Since its launch in 2020, the business has seen fast-growing demand for its flexible leasing for cars and vans, and the new office provides additional room for a growing customer services team and creates a new technology hub for the business.
Managing director Karl Howkins explained: “We have grown rapidly in 2021 and needed larger offices to support our plans. It will allow us to continue to invest in great customer service and expand our technology team.
“The market for ultra-flexible leasing is evolving quickly and will continue to lead the industry by helping customers make the green transition with our carbon-neutral leasing developed in partnership with BP Target Neutral.”
Sogo’s fast growth has been backed by a series of initiatives designed to help fleet managers operate greener fleets, including an equity release scheme to enable the earlier move to EVs, and monthly flexible leasing, allowing drivers to test if an EV is right for their requirements.
It has also partnered with Rightcharge to help drivers identify and install the right charging unit for their type of usage and budget, including helping drivers to access government grants, green electricity tariffs and smart billing options. Customers can also be provided with an Electric Juice Network card to access one of the UK’s largest networks of public chargers.
