Volkswagen Financial Services | Fleet has launched a new multi-marque tool that can help both fleets and drivers decide which powertrain type is best for their needs.

The EV-4-ME tool guides drivers through a series of simple questions about their vehicle and need

The ‘EV-4-ME?’ tool guides drivers through a series of simple questions about their vehicle and needs, covering everything from chargepoint availability to daily journey needs. The site then gives instant and easy-to-understand advice on which powertrain type could work best, whether that’s a diesel, petrol, plug-in hybrid or fully electric vehicle.

Fleet managers can then use the guidance from the tool to liaise with their dedicated VWFS | fleet account manager and explore the tailored solutions available to them.

Tom Brewer, head of sales and marketing at VWFS | Fleet, commented: “The rapid development of electric vehicles, coupled with ongoing uncertainty around the tax and legislative environment, means that there’s a lot of confusion around who might be suitable for ultra-low emission vehicles. We want to assist drivers on their consideration journey, giving them all the information they need to make an informed decision. This will help fleet managers guide their drivers to discover whether an ultra-low emission vehicle could work for them. Ultimately, facts and evidence should drive the right decisions and where potential myths over charging infrastructure or range exist we will provide strong impartial advice.”
