Maxus is entering the 7.5-tonne GVW electric vehicle sector in the UK with the unveiling of its dedicated eDeliver 75 model.

Launching in October, the fully electric eDeliver 75 is intended to shake up the light to medium duty sector, addressing the rising demand for clean and efficient urban, inter-urban and last-mile transport solutions,

Equipped with a 120kWh battery pack from CATL, it delivers an official WLTP range of 155 miles and two ePTO options of 15kW or 100kW.

It’s also capable of 120kW charging, enabling a 20-80% charge cycle within 30 minutes on a rapid DC charger. A payload potential of 4,590kg matches the best offering currently in the sector, allowing maximum productivity for operators.

The eDeliver 75 is positioned as the go-to electric solution for both existing van customers and new medium-duty operators navigating the pivot to zero emissions and will be available with two wheelbase options and a “comfortable, well-appointed, modern cab” equipped with a wide array of comfort and convenience features as standard. Equipment includes cruise control, heated multi-function steering wheel, keyless start and exterior Vehicle to Load (V2L) capability as standard.

The eDeliver 75 will also come with a five-year vehicle and eight-year battery warranty as standard and will be backed by a comprehensive aftersales portfolio supported by the established Maxus UK national dealer network and with the added support of a dedicated vehicle off-road (VOR) team at its headquarters in Liverpool.

A structured product rollout is designed to build market momentum and ensure optimal dealer network readiness. A customer launch and full pricing details – which Maxus says are expected to be the most attractive on the market – are scheduled for October, with the first demonstration vehicles hitting the road in December.

Deliveries will mirror established Maxus van timelines at approximately 20 weeks for factory orders. Maxus plans to have a steady pipeline of stock vehicles to ensure fast and efficient delivery through the network.

The eDeliver 75 will also come with a suite of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) that include lane departure warning and lane keeping assist, front collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind spot information system, moving off information system, driver fatigue monitor and alcolock preparation.

Additional safety features include traffic sign recognition system with speed limit detection, driver and passenger airbags and a comprehensive 360-degree camera system integrated with reversing sensors through a 12.3-inch infotainment system, and supporting DAB radio, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

The eDeliver 75 joins the growing Maxus product line, which also includes the eDeliver 3, 5, 7 and 9 electric panel vans, the Deliver 7 and Deliver 9 diesel vans, Mifa 7 and Mifa 9 MPVs, plus the T60 Max and eTerron 9 electric pickups.
