Inaugural ‘National EV Week’ to propel UK fleet electrification

The EV Café and trade exhibition firm Nineteen Group have teamed up to launch National EV Week in a move to celebrate and accelerate vehicle electrification across the UK.

The week-long event will showcase how major fleets and SMEs can make the EV transition

National EV Week will be the first comprehensive, week-long campaign to unite the entire EV ecosystem, from vehicles and charging to renewables and telematics/software, and will include a firm focus on fleet electrification.

Scheduled for 1-5 December 2025, the annual event aims to unify the industry, accelerate dialogue and showcase real-world solutions for the UK’s cleaner journey to net zero.

The EV Cafe, a leading voice for zero-emission mobility and community engagement, said it was a pivotal moment for the industry.

Paul Kirby, commercial director, elaborated: “For years, The EV Cafe has been the friendly, jargon-free pit stop for anyone interested in electrification. Now, by partnering with the Nineteen Group, who possess immense expertise in building large, impactful communities and trade platforms, we are turning our important work into a full, nationwide celebration.

“More importantly we will showcase how major fleets and small businesses can make the transition to electric vehicles with a programme of webinars and activities with industry leading fleet managers and partners who are all driving this change.”

The partnership draws on the strengths of both organisations, uniting The EV Cafe’s deep industry knowledge, engaged community and approachable content style, with the Nineteen Group’s track record of delivering major, high-quality and commercially successful trade exhibitions across vital sectors – including the UK’s annual Commercial Vehicle Show.

Peter Jones, CEO of Nineteen Group, said: “The EV sector is dynamic and complex. The combination of hardware (vehicles and charging) and software (including energy, data and routing) requires a dedicated, unifying platform of scale. National EV Week perfectly complements our portfolio, and we are proud to collaborate with The EV Cafe team to deliver the focused celebration that the market needs.”

The organisers are onboarding stakeholders across fleet, logistics, energy, real estate, manufacturing and local government. The focus will be on solving the practical challenges of transitioning to electric, including grid management, power availability, fleet planning and renewable integration.
