Tara Group, the independently owned construction company, has introduced an electric vehicle salary sacrifice scheme in partnership with CBVC Vehicle Management.

The scheme was successfully piloted in May and officially launched in September as a new employee benefit at a dedicated event at Tara Group’s headquarters in Staffordshire.

The launch event, planned and run by CBVC, featured manufacturer support from Polestar, Audi and BMW, which provided demonstration vehicles and test drives. CBVC also delivered a company-wide presentation to explain the scheme, and answer questions on the switch to an EV.

Tara Group has a significant proportion of employees eligible for salary sacrifice, and CBVC has already reported strong levels of enquiries, with particular interest in the demonstrator vehicles showcased on the launch day.

Salary sacrifice take-up continues to soar among UK businesses. According to the BVRLA Leasing Outlook October 2025, the number of vehicles funded through salary sacrifice is up 118.2% year-on-year.
